Our farm is located in Colonia Carvajal (we are in the center of the northern part of Costa Rica), district of La Virgen, inside the Cordillera Volcánica Central Biological Reserve Park and the Braulio Carrillo Nacional Park surroundings, in the Sarapiquí county. It is over 700 mts of altitude, and is located only two hours from San José. Sarapiquí is the area with the best spring water in Costa Rica. There is currently a 4 kilometer long trail to the farm from the nearest town: San Miguel de Sarapiquí. The town has everything necessary for living a comfortable life.

Our farm posesses natural beauty, no pesticides or chemicals have been used and the land can be used for organic agriculture, as a tourist attraction & housing development, and of course, for reforestation.Natural water sources all over the property. The farm is located bordering the Braulio Carrillo National Park and consists of 112 hectares (280 acres), which is equivalent to 1.120.000 m². There are 74 hectares (185 acres) of virgin rain forest.

From the total of 112 hectares (280 acres), 74 hectares (185 acres) are registered as "ozone farms" under a contract with the Ministry of Energy and Environment to ensure the surrounding forest will be protected. The remaining 38 Hectares (93 Acres) are used for development, for the sale of lots, or the building of houses.

You can enjoy all the benefits of living in a rainforest yet the place is easily accesible for a 2 kms gravely road, and eventually in the rainy season a 4x4 can be necessary.

We are looking for a strategic alliance for the development of a touristic project in the surroundings of the Poza Azul River.

PRICES

Nornally it starts in: $10 per m², close to the town.
We hope that the families that will come to live at this private reserve are naturalists, because it will be developeded as an ecological private condominium in the middle of the rain forest.
